Where can I find the episode on 2wd to 4wd conversion?
The Donor truck episode, you forgot to mention the 6.0 has junk heads from the factory. This includes the 4.8 and 5.3,6.2 engines. The heads were casted wrong in the middle head bolt hole area. There was no middle support put in.If you see a huge sludge build up and signs of orange goo after removing the valve cover of these engines, the heads are junk. One sign is a coolant leak not found from the outside.
Hey guys I'd love for you to use my truck as a guinea pig on the show sometime! It's my daily driver, but needs a little tlc that's just out of my reach. I bought this truck last yr w/the intention of fixing it up and then got burned by a local mechanic who was supposed to rebuild the motor, but instead replaced gaskets & painted it telling me it's fine! Needless to say 3 mo later it leaks all over and that same shop says they won't look at it and that the engine's no good and needs to be replaced!! It wouldn't be so bad if I weren't disabled, but I just don't have the money to do what it needs. It's an '85 C2500 Sierra Classic. I bought it from the original owner and it's one of the straightest trucks I've ever seen. It's completely all original, body, interior, drive train, and is super fun to drive! Thanks in advance for any possible help!
the last episode I watched you had this creeper thing that basically let you hang over the engine to work on it.i need one whats it called
